FAQ | The Ultimate Guide to Premium Nicaraguan Cigars
Welcome to the definitive resource for enthusiasts seeking the finest Nicaraguan cigars. As an accessible luxury brand, we are dedicated to providing the highest quality handmade sticks. Below, you will find expert answers regarding our artisan craftsmanship, freshness standards, and our commitment to providing free shipping on every order.
The Excellence of Nicaraguan Tobacco
Why are Nicaraguan cigars considered the gold standard?
First and foremost, the volcanic soil of Nicaragua provides a unique mineral richness that cannot be replicated. Consequently, these cigars offer a bold, earthy profile that aficionados crave. Each stick is handmade by master rollers to ensure that our Nicaraguan cigars meet the highest luxury standards.
What are the main flavor profiles I should expect?
In addition to their famous spice, many of our blends feature notes of cocoa, cedar, and roasted nuts. Specifically, regions like Jalapa produce sweeter wrappers, while Estelí is known for its strength. Ultimately, this variety is what makes the Nicaraguan tobacco market so diverse and exciting.
Guaranteed Freshness & Care
How do you ensure my order arrives fresh?
To begin with, we utilize professional humidity-controlled packaging for every shipment. Furthermore, we monitor our humidor conditions daily to ensure that your Nicaraguan cigars are in peak condition the moment they leave our warehouse. As a result, you receive a shop-fresh experience every time.
What is the best way to store my cigars at home?
Ideally, you should keep them in a Spanish cedar humidor at 70% humidity. However, if you don’t have a humidor yet, a sealed container with a Boveda pack is a great temporary solution. Maintaining this environment is crucial for preserving the essential oils of the tobacco leaf.
The Art of the Blend: Antares Wrappers and Fillers
Beyond the fermentation process, the true soul of our Nicaraguan cigars lies in the selection of the leaf. Specifically, Antares Cigars utilizes premium Ligero fillers sourced from the legendary soils of Jalapa, Condega, and Estelí. By focusing on these nutrient-rich regions, we ensure a bold, full-bodied foundation for every stick we roll.
The Rare Candela & Smooth Connecticut
To begin with, our Candela wrappers offer a unique, tea-like sweetness and a striking green hue. Similarly, the Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper provides a creamy, mild experience for those who prefer a refined smoke. Consequently, these wrappers are ideal for enthusiasts who enjoy the lighter side of premium Nicaraguan cigars.
The Classic Habano & Rich Maduro
In contrast, our Habano wrappers are prized for their spicy, traditional Cuban-seed profile. Furthermore, for those seeking deeper intensity, we utilize the world-renowned San Andres Mexico Maduro wrapper. As a result of this dark, oily leaf, smokers can expect notes of dark chocolate and black pepper.
The Innovation of the Multiwrapper
Above all, the Antares Multiwrapper showcases the ultimate skill of our rollers. By artfully combining two contrasting leaves—such as Connecticut and Maduro—we create a visually stunning cigar with a complex, evolving flavor. Ultimately, this represents our commitment to innovation within the luxury cigar market.
